While rituals of the Bon religion are now performed mostly in monastic settings throughout the world, those documented by Kalpa Bon and presented on this website reflect the practice of monastic and lay Bonpo communities in the former Himalayan kingdoms of Mustang and Dolpo, now districts of the modern state of Nepal.
